Mission & Vision

Our Vision

Make Tech Education Easy for Everyone

A world where learners — adults, teens, and children — harness technology not just as a tool, but as a bridge to innovation, opportunity, and sustainable change. We see Africa's brightest minds rising to global challenges, crafting solutions that inspire the world and transform communities.

Our Mission

By 2030, empower 1,000,000 learners with future-ready skills and train 10,000 entrepreneurs across Africa.

Our Purpose

To bridge the gap between potential and opportunity by providing world-class technology education accessible to everyone, regardless of background or location.

Teaching Guidelines

At Algorithm Institute, tutors are more than educators — they are mentors, innovators, and role models. To maintain excellence and align with global standards of education (UNESCO, OECD, and leading learning platforms worldwide), we follow these teaching guidelines.

Content must prepare learners for real-world challenges, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the future of work.

Every learner, regardless of age, gender, culture, or ability, should feel welcomed and supported in the learning journey.

Lessons must be well-structured, with clear objectives, step-by-step explanations, and achievable learning outcomes.

All teaching materials should be fact-checked, ethical, and rooted in academic or professional credibility.

Encourage participation through discussions, assignments, projects, and real-world problem-solving — not just one-way instruction.

Quizzes, assignments, and grading should be transparent, unbiased, and designed to measure actual skill growth.

Tutors are encouraged to experiment with creative teaching styles, interactive technology, and storytelling to spark curiosity.

Courses and lessons should be well-paced, concise, and mindful of learners' time while maintaining depth and value.

Protect learner data, foster respectful communication, and create a safe digital learning environment.

Tutors are expected to keep learning themselves, staying updated with industry trends, pedagogy, and technology.

How to Use AI Agents

Each agent is context-aware — the more specific you are about what you are working on, the better their responses will be. Here are some tips:

  • Be specific: Instead of "help me with code", say "I am building a React Native app and my FlatList is not re-rendering when state changes"
  • Provide context: Mention the course name, lesson number, or category you are working in
  • Ask follow-ups: Agents remember your conversation context within a session — build on previous answers
  • Use the right agent: Miss Algorithm for general questions, BR_Kunle for code, Xacker for security, etc.
